ESR8's outreach activities consist of participation in the 2015, 2016 and 2017 European Researchers' Nights which occurs each September in Athens, Greece. This event allowes members of the general public to learn about the research activities of many research groups coming from a variety of scientific vocations. The PCOp at the NTUA has a table at this event each year which provides an ideal platform for allowing people to explore the ideas of CFD, industrial optimization, and what we do in the IODA ITN. Over the years, presentations prepared and conducted with ESR7, Christos Vezyris, Mehdi Ghavami Nejad and other members of the PCOpt lab at the NTUA allowed people of all backgrounds to become actively engaged in discussion.
