Early Stage Researcher 2 at Queen Mary University of London
Together with three other ESRs from QMUL (Pavanakuma Mohanmuraly, Rejish Jesudasan), and OpenCascade (Salvatore Auriemma), I took part in the London Big Bang Fair at Uxbridge College, July 2017.
We met pupils from local schools and introduced them to our research. We took with us a drone-like device with different sets of propellers. The pupils were trying to guess which propeller shape could produce most lift suitable for 'air-transport'. We were happy to hear many correct answers and cheerful discussions. We also demonstrated that computational methods and science could serve as a great base for a good 'guess'.
