Marc Schwalbach
Early Stage Researcher 14 at Von Karman Institute
Marc was born in Germany, but spent most of his youth growing up in the Philippines. In 2009, he moved to Germany to begin his studies in Computational Engineering Science (CES) at RWTH Aachen University. He earned his B.Sc. degree with the specialization fluid mechanics and technical combustion in 2013. Marc remained in Aachen to pursue his Master's studies in CES with the specialization mathematics, graduating with excellence in 2015. He conducted his PhD research within the IODA project at the von Karman Institute for Fluid Dynamics in Belgium. After the IODA project, he joined GreenStone Energy GmbH in Berlin as a software engineer while finishing up his PhD thesis.
