ENGYS develops, supports and delivers CAE software solutions for industry based on open-source technologies since 2010, offering a variety of proprietary products and ancilliary services focused around the OPENFOAM® library for CFD and DAKOTA for MDO. The company operates worldwide from 5 main office locations, namely: UK, Germany, Italy, Australia and USA. ENGYS also have resellers in Benelux, Korea, Japan and China.
ENGYS’ personnel have successfully managed and delivered numerous CAE related projects for industry over the past 15 years, including more than 10 years’ direct involvement in the application and development of FOAM/OPENFOAM® software for CFD analysis and adjoint optimisation. The company participates in various EU funded projects, such as MAAT, Aboutflow and Fortissimo.
Key Personnel
Paolo Geremia MSc: received his Laurea Magistrale degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Trieste in 2002. From 2002 to 2010 Paolo worked at ESTECO Srl. Paolo has extensive experience in GUI development, multi-disciplinary optimisation, process integration, meta-modelling and application of multiple CAE tools for industrial scale applications. Paolo is the General Manager of ENGYS S.r.l in Italy.
Dr. Eugene de Viliers PhD MSc DIC: received his M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from University of Stellenbosch, South Africa in 1994. He later received his PhD and DIC in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College London, UK in 2007. Eugene holds the position of Managing Director at ENGYS Ltd and is responsible for policy planning and coordination. His previous experience includes Lead CFD Developer at Icon Ltd., Analyst/Developer at Nabla Ltd., and Researcher at Imperial College London.
